What's an A Service?
Mercedes-Benz designed the Service A as the minor service in their Diesel Vans, Cars & SUVs.
It occurs every second service, alternating with the B Service.

Here's some common questions I get asked about the Service A on a Mercedes.
Where does the Service A fit in the Schedule?
Mercedes specify A and B log book services. Services alternate between A and B (for example 1st service – A, 2nd service – B, 3rd service – A).
How often is Servicing Required?
Vans: The Mercedes Vito and Sprinter vans need to be serviced at intervals of between 20,000km and 40,000km depending on model.
Cars & SUVs: Mercedes Diesel Cars and SUVs typically need to be serviced every 15,000km to 25,000km depending on model.
What about Parts, Oils and Warranty?
Our services include parts and fluids that meet or exceed Mercedes-Benz standards. This means these parts are the same as the original parts but come without the Mercedes price tag – saving you money without voiding your warranty.

The Mercedes Service A includes:
- Digital vehicle inspection and report
- Engine oil and filter change
- Comprehensive vehicle safety check including brakes, lights, suspension and seat belts
- Top up all fluid levels including power steering, brake fluid and washer fluid
- Check under bonnet condition of poly drive belt and hoses
- Check under body including exhaust
- Check tyre pressures
- Check interior including air conditioning and heating
- Road test
