Mercedes Suspension and Steering Repairs
We help Mercedes owners with Electrical system diagnositcs and repairs, thanks to our Mercedes Diagnostic software and electrical test equipment.
Why is Suspension important?
Properly maintained suspension and steering is critical for safe handling, comfort and tyre wear.Â
Suspension components such as shock absorbers, springs, bushes and joints are under constant load and begin wearing from day one.Â
As the suspension wears on your Sprinter or Vito, you may notice:
- Clunks and noises
- Steering Wheel not pointing straight
- Tyres wearing quickly on the edges
When will I need to consider Suspension Maintenance?
Suspension components such as shock absorbers, springs, bushes and joints are under constant load and begin wearing from day one. However we can make a few generalisations.
Sprinter vans will typically first require suspension maintenance at 170,000km to 200,000km. Vito vans usually require suspension maintenance at 200,000km to 230,000km.
The life of your suspension components varies depending on the loads carried and the type of roads driven.
