Common questions about the Mercedes A Service

What is the Mercedes A Service?

Mercedes-Benz designed the Service A as the minor service on their vehicles.

It occurs every second service, alternating with the B Service.

Service A is the minor service and includes engine oil and filter replacement, a vehicle inspection and resetting the service indicator.

Service B is the more comprehensive service. In addition to the oil service and inspection, it includes additional items such as cabin filters, brake fluid flushing, fuel filters (on diesel engines) and other maintenance depending on the model and service schedule.

Your Mercedes will alternate between A Service and B Service throughout its maintenance life.

Services alternate between A and B.

For example, 1st service – A, 2nd service – B, 3rd service – A.

See more about the B Service.

Mercedes cars and SUVs typically need to be serviced once per 12 months, or every 10,000km to 25,000km depending on model.

The Mercedes Vito and Sprinter vans need to be serviced at intervals of between 20,000km and 40,000km depending on model.

The A Service is done every second time, alternating with the B Service.

The Service A fulfils Mercedes logbook requirements, keeping your warranty in place.

The vehicle inspection and digital report provides peace of mind and transparency.

Our services include parts and fluids that meet or exceed Mercedes-Benz standards.

This means that our services maintain your Mercedes warranty, whilst saving you money.

At Eurostar Diesels, we specialise in Mercedes vehicles and follow the correct service procedures, giving you dealership-level servicing without the dealership price.
